█課程內容概要本科目旨在增進學生英文聽說讀寫能力；主題涵蓋生活軼事、個人品味、世界文化、社交技巧、法令與規範、犯罪與制裁、怪異事件與迷信。課程內容包括不同類型之聽講練習，與主題或閱讀技巧相關之文章或故事的閱讀與討論(約2700字主要字彙)，以及故事、短文習作與信件之撰寫(約220字)。文體類型包括敘述、指示、議論、與分類。 The course is topic based and designed to enhance high intermediate level students’ English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Students will learn to communicate within the context of topics relating to personal stories and events, personal tastes, world cultures, socializing skills, rules and regulations, crimes and punishments, strange events and superstitions by listening to and practicing a variety of dialogues, reading and discussing texts (up to 2700 headwords) relating to the themes or reading strategies, and composing stories, articles and letters (around 220 words).
